If you know that 1 Mercury day is 58 Earth days, and 1 Mercury year is 88 Earth days, you may think that if you can stay on Mercury, a day takes 58 Earth days right? The truth is YES, but visually NO!The difference between sunrise and sunrise in Mercury takes a longer time than its year, that’s around 176 Earth days! Why? Look at the picture below…

So if you are standing at that position above, you may need to wait from the Mercury position 1 to Mercury position 1 again to see another sunrise.
